Saugus provided tug service to SUBRON Fourteen submarines in the Holy Loch until 1974

Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register and struck from the Naval Register, 28 October 1997

Final Disposition, sold by the General Services Administration (GSA) reuse, 17 May 2000
