  • Laid down as YT-256, 11 September 1943, by Anderson & Cristofani, San Francisco, CA.
  • Named Menoquet, 5 January 1944
  • Launched, 5 February 1944
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Large YTB-256 15 May 1944
  • Allocated to the Service Force South Pacific Fleet
  • Delivered and placed in service at Mare Island Navy Yard, Vallejo, CA., 7 June 1944, as Menoquet (YTB-256)
  • Transferred to the 7th Fleet, 1 May 1945
  • Returning to Pearl Harbor at the conclusion of World War II, Menoquet was ordered disposed of in March 1946
  • Disposal orders canceled in August 1946 and Menoquet was allocated the 14th Naval District at Pearl Harbor
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register, 1 May 1959
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
