09 July 1943: Keel laid by the Boston Navy Yard, Charlestown, Mass.
13 August 1943: Launched
09 November 1943: Transferred to Great Britain as Lend-Lease, commissioned as HMS Louis (K.515)
20 March 1946: Returned to U.S. Navy custody at the Philadelphia Navy Yard
17 June 1946: Sold to the State of Pennsylvania
