HMS Lawford (ex-DE-516) and HMS Trollope (ex-DE-566), and HM LST-302, in Portsmouth Dockyard on 26 May 1944. Lawford was sunk less than a fortnight later, on 8 June, and Trollope was torpedoed by an E-boat off Le Havre only a month after that. Both ships suffered heavy casualties.
