24 December 1943: Commissioned at the Tennessee Coal and Iron Co. pier by Cap't DeWitt C. Redgrave Jr.; Lcdr S. Farnham in command

21 June 1946: Decommissioned at Green Cove Springs, Fla. after 2 years and 6 months of service

01 August 1973: Struck from the NVR

19 November 1974: Sunk as a target off the Florida coast
