26 August 1943: Keel laid by the Federal Shipbuilding and Drydock Corp., Port Newark, N.J.

14 November 1943: Launched and christened, sponsored by Mrs. W. T. O誰eill, mother of Ens. William Thomas O'Neill Jr.

06 December 1943: Commissioned at the New York Navy Yard by Radm. Monroe Kelly, Yard Commandant; Lt. David S. Bill, Jr. in command

30 December 1945: Arrived at Green Cove Springs, Fla. to commence the decommissioning process

02 May 1946: Decommissioned at Green Cove Springs, Fla. after 2 years and 5 months of service

23 October 1950: Transferred (MAP) to the Netherlands, renamed HNLMS Dubois (F-809)

20 December 1950: Struck from the NVR

15 December 1967: Returned to U.S. custody

February 1968: Sold, scrapped in W. Germany
