Melody of the labyrinth

How sounds the labyrinth?

"Sacred Geometry" plays an important role in a labyrinth. The following ideas I found in the book "Labyrinths" of Sig Lonegren. Thank you!

If you are numbering the paths in a classical seven-circuit labyrinth from outside in, you walk them in the order: 3-2-1-4-7-6-5-8.

If you use the notes of our musical scale to replace the numbers by beginning with a middle C for the 1, D = 2, E = 3, F = 4, G = 5, A = 6, H = 7, and the C one octave up for the 8, you will get: E-D-C-F-H-A-G-C.

If you are playing the notes in the same order as you walk the paths, you will get the melody of the labyrinth.

Look at this animations to see and hear it more clearly:

Here you may see the melody in different scales, composed by Wolfgang Fischer from Schlägl in Austria.
