FSC^® Forest Certification System

In 2001, Mitsubishi Paper Mills became the first paper mill in Japan to obtain FSC^® forest certification (COC certification) at its Hachinohe Mill (Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture) and began production of FSC^® forest certified paper.

Mitsubishi Paper Mills has launched "Green Webcast", an official channel for Mitsubishi Paper Mills, to promote a deeper understanding of the Group's products and efforts that contribute to a greener society. Under the theme of "Green", the channel introduces a wide array of information on the company-owned forests, products, and events.

Here are some of our initiatives for a sustainable future. We are promoting initiatives for a recycling-oriented society by developing environmentally friendly products, procuring wood from properly managed forests, and holding environmental seminars.
