Food Plant: Narcissus spp. (Daffodil)
Egg: laid singly in mesophyll
Mine: probably bivoltine with adults recorded March-July; October
Notes: The larvae mine downwards 3 - 4 leaves in succession finally pupating in an enlargement of the mine at the plant base. Can cause damage to the plant. Adults were first seen in 1965 in britain and possibly were from imported Daffodils.
