Notes: Forms a long winding upper surface shallow mine, which may develop into a secondary blotch. The mine is intially green (as shown) and then turns whitish. The frass is in thin threads and alternates from side to side of the gallery. A local species. Mine shown, with larva, is on Ononis repens
