Jeb Branin Another frigid, Nordic, black metal band who just manage to play with enough conviction and style to avoid being mundane. Keyboards give the band some depth and class but the band's main identity if is forged by tornado drumming and buzzing guitars. My favorite thing about the band is that they keep their metal roots planted firmly at all time and don't go wandering off trying to be something they are not. As a result, this disc is enjoyable, if far from unique.
