The Descendants ripped through an almost two-hour set playing a perfect mix of old and new songs. Bill Stevenson was pounding the beats in impressive fashion and adding perfect fills. Milo hadn't lost a step throughout his years in the lab. He clenched the mic in his right hand and twirled the chord in his left, having no need for a mic stand. His unmistakable stage presence was in fine form.
They played all of my personal favorites including "Sour Grapes", "Silly Girl", "Coolidge", and "I Like Food". Not once did they play two consecutive songs from their new record. Karl Alvarez (bassist) hit perfect harmonies with Milo which stood out on "Coolidge". When the Descendants come to your town do not miss them. Make sure pick up your tickets early.
