Human and organizational factors
Technical operation and human factors have been well studied since the 1900s. Since the 1980s, social and behavioural scientists have increasingly focused on the impacts of organization, including culture, leadership, management and communication, finding that the dynamic interactions of these factors can both jeopardize and promote safety and security.
