Downloading a 14mb file is very difficult.
Kindly divide them into chapterwise files.

Thanks for your effort to make this doc. available. It will hopefully be a great help as I can barely turn the thing on.

On Section 20 ---Calculus and Symbolic Manipulation---, SubSection 5 ---Rearranging Symbolic Expressions---, SubSubSection 2 ---Manipulating Subexpressions--- page 20-19, To algebraically rearrange a particular subexpression: "move the selection cursos to the top-level function for the subexpression you want to rearrange, press RULES then press the menu key for transformation you want". I tried COS(x+y) expansion with TRG* and found the result is COS(x)*COS(y)-SIN(x)*SIN(y).

I found a mistake in HP 48G Series Advanced User's Reference Manual, Technical Reference, page F-8: The TRG* expansion for the function COS(x+y) is incorrectly written; SAYS: COS(x)*COS(y)+SIN(x)*SIN(y). SHOULD SAY: COS(x)*COS(y)-SIN(x)*SIN(y).

@ks raman:

It's Nov. 2017 and I laughed when I read your comment. 14 Mbytes is too large to download. That is hilarious reading that 14 years later.

I used Adobe Acrobat to straighten pages and OCR the text, making it keyword searchable. Sadly, I don't see any way to swap out the old PDF for the modified version I made. If anyone has the power over this server to do such a swap, please contact me on the HP Museum forum where I am known as JDW. I would be happy to offer this revised version PDF to the HP community.
