Macromedia, err I mean Adobe, has released Flex 2! It just so happens that lynda.com released Flex 2 Essential Training yesterday and in Chapter 1 there's a free 9 minute movie that answers the question, "What is Flex?". You'll also find a few other free movies in chapter 1, Getting Started.
Enjoy!

I recently autographed about 6 copies of Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 Killer Tips. The first copy went up on eBay about 10 minutes ago and sold right away.
They're being listed by Five Star Billiards. Hurry, while supplies last...

I looked for such a thing for a long time. That is unique. Thank you! Friendly greetings.
You're welcome; glad you enjoyed it! ~Angela
...that my ex-husband moved back in tonight and is moving to Texas with us. ("Us" in case you weren't aware, means my son, boyfriend and me.) He'll be living in our guest room, until he finds a job.
Go ahead, check your calendar; it isn't April 1st...

I would say Gaetano is a lucky boy to have a family who love him so much. Hope it all works out well for you all in your new location.
We think so too. Thanks for the well-wishes Steve! ~Angela

Certainly unusual, but I guess he's moving with you to stay close to your son? That's a sign of a family which has its priorities right!
Thanks, I tend to agree...of course!
Sadly, this isn't the usual scenario. As such, it often shocks people into disbelief. I don't think any of us expected it to work out this nicely...I'm certainly glad that it has though, for all our sakes especially my son. ~Angela

I would say ............ that 3 very mature adults that know how to communicate are doing a great job of putting a child's welfare above their own. KUDO'S TO YOU ALL!!!
Thanks :-) I'm sure you'd say that even if you weren't my boyfriend's dad! ~Angela
If you're a regular reader of my blog, you already know that I've been working for lynda.com since late January of this year. I started out as the Web Interface Architect and have since moved to a new position, Web Production Manager.
We've hired Dan as our Web Application Architect. (If JD can "out" my new job, I can certainly "out" Dan's!)
To those who know both of us, to answer your question... Yes, I am Dan's supervisor. Nope, that's nothing new. ;-)
We're building our web team and are looking to fill a few positions in the Austin, Texas vicinity. Please visit http://www.lynda.com/jobs/ for available openings.
