Ok, you may think I'm a little nuts to post this, but I'm going to anyhow. It's my blog after all and nobody is forcing anyone to read my ramblings. I use my blog to record events (sometimes you don't even realize I'm doing it) that matter to me. Anyhow, tonight's big event was tucking Gaetano in bed for the first time. Today the front rail was taken off his crib, making it a day bed.
Ambrogio tucked him in, and an hour later he fell out of bed. He cried for about 10 minutes, watched some TV, and then asked me to take him back to bed. This time I got to tuck him in and it was so, so sweet. An hour later, he fell out of bed again! Awwwww :-( I put down some cushion and a stuffed animal is behind his back so if he goes to roll he'll be okay. Tucking him in his first bed was one of those sweet mama moments. Comforting him is something I wish I never had to do, but I'm so glad I'm able.

Being sick is definitely affecting my typing. I'm making so many typos lately. I'm even making dumb grammatical errors. We all know my typing is horrible, but I usually proofread well enough to catch my goofs. My apologies to those who've had to endure my bad typing today. Hopefully I'll feel better soon!

Hi Angela,
I am another cousin of Amborgio's. I am Rita's daughter. I know that you have heard from my other cousins, they have told me all about it. I also wanted to comment on how beautiful Gaetano is. Please let my cousin know that I said hello and that I miss him.
I hope you are feeling better since your surgery.
Lea
Hi Lea,
Thanks for the kind words about Gaetano. I'll definitely let Ambrogio know you also wrote. Hopefully you'll get the chance to speak soon. Nice hearing from you too... ~Angela
Buraglia's are just popping up out of the woodworks lately! I think it's something to do with how easily I'm found on Google. (I've gotten some email in addition to the comments I approved.) It really is a small world...
I'm interested in hearing from my family too though, so I better start mentioning Bertone here occasionally if I ever want to be found. ;-) I have a lot of family I've never met or have not seen in many years. Italian families can be so stubborn, and just stop talking for years for no real good reason. Here's hoping that it doesn't last forever.

It's been awhile since I've posted anything here and the last few messages have been pretty brief. I figured since I was approving a comment to my previous post I'd make a new one while I'm here.
I'm recovering fairly well from the surgery. I caught a cold/flu on Sunday and despite medication, I have gotten progressively worse. I've been having some pain in my lower right abdomen and if it persists I'll go back to the ER again. Let's hope not!
I've been busy as can be, but I'll try and start posting more often. My apologies for my absense, but I think I have a pretty good excuse. :-)

I've been home since Tuesday night, I just forgot to blog. I'm feeling real sore still but getting better each day. I've lots of work to do, but not enough energy to get caught up yet. I'm trying though...

Hi Angela. Funny how I came across this website just as you asked someone if you and she were related. Well..we are. I'm Ambrogios cousin In NY. Although we've never met, and despite the fact that my cousin and I somehow no longer speak, I wanted to comment on Geatano. God bless him..he's absolutely adorable. Please let your husband know that I said so. Take care.
Hello Lucy,
I've definitely heard of you, despite that we haven't ever met. Thank you for the kind words about our son. I have to agree, he is definitely adorable. :-) I'll be sure to let Ambrogio know you wrote. Nice to hear from you. ~Angela

Angela,
Get well soon!
Pamela Buraglia
Thanks Pamela. :-) I'm doing better each day from the surgery. I appreciate the well wishes. I definitely still need them. :-)
I've got to ask, are we related? I think you emailed me about a year ago and we determined there was no relation, but I might not be thinking of the right person. Sorry, I have the hardest time keeping track of all of Ambrogio's family (especially those I've never met)!

Hi Angelo,
I answered you in an email, but I figured I should at least approve your message here too. :-) Nice to hear from you. (By the way, if I was born a boy my parents would have named me Angelo Christopher. I thought you might find that amusing.) ~Angela
I don't have a gall bladder anymore. At least I have a decent dialup here in the hospital...

Why, of all the gall to take a break from your work, you're fired!!
;-)
Gall? I don't have no stinkin' gall bladder... C'mon, you know me better than that; I kept working through it all. Dan said that if they'd kept me awake for the surgery I probably would have been working then too! :-) ~Angela

Hope you feel better soon Angela!
Thanks Paul, I'm starting to feel better finally... I just got home. :-) ~Angela
He did it!!! :-) (Sorry to those of you who come here to read about Dreawmweaver stuff...) It's been one whole year since Gaetano has gone potty on the toilet. He only went "number 1" once before and "number 2" a couple days later. This time, he went "number 1" twice within an hour! I'm so proud!
