TI-30_BR_BACK.jpg (482593 Byte)This TI-30 was manufactured in Brazil and looks at first glance identical with the US-manufactured models. The backside of the calculator sports just a small sticker with the serial number and country of origin and a Date code with "CIB" for Texas Instrumentos Eletr?nicos do Brasil Ltda. - Campinas. Later Texas Instruments calculators sold in Brazil like the SR-40 LCD were assembled by Ind?strias Gerais da Amazonia S.A..

TI-30_BR_PCB.jpg (131516 Byte)Dismantling the TI-30 reveals a well known internal construction but the single-chip calculator circuits sports a very uncommon designation JP0981. It is probably identical with the TMC0981 found in the US built TI-30.

Don't miss the Money Manager manufactured in Brazil, too.
