• Sept. 27: You should have scanned an object with the Vivid (or other) scanner by now. Talk to Paul if you haven't.
• Sept. 23: Code to read scanner output files is available. See assignment 2 link below.
• Sept. 22: Please get started on assignment 2 - scan an object this week if possible. See link below.

• Sept. 16: Copies of the Chen-Williams paper (one of the papers to read for 9/22) is available at Cleah's office (Doherty 4309).
• Sept. 15: created student directories. You each have about 100 MB of space. Corrected error in LD_LIBRARY_PATH in software web page; RELOAD it. Also created pub/lib and pub/include directories. Programs should compile and link much better now! News group should be accessible now or in a few hours.

• Steve will be out of town Sept. 10-26, so during this period most questions about the class should be directed to Paul.
