The SILFS series
Series edited by

Since its foundation in 1952, the aim of the Italian Society for Logic and Philosophy of Science (SILFS), has been to bring together scholars working in the broad areas of Logic, Philosophy of Science and History of Science. The society encourages an open-minded approach to these disciplines in order to favour a confrontation with the empirical and formal sciences as well as the construction of interdisciplinary bridges. In this perspective, SILFS maintains that logicians and philosophers of science should not only pursue their own internal problems, but also consider the challenging conceptual and methodological questions that arise in any genuine attempt to extend our scientific knowledge.
The series welcomes contributions stemming from the activity of the Society and focusing on any research topic related to its aims and scope. All proposals will be reviewed by experts in the field.
