I'm still prefer the 70s, and working with older cars that dont rely on a computer to service.
Ive used the hosting and some pages from my old business site,Baconsdozen Imperial tools, for this personal site. Baconsdozen ,which was tool shop in Lowestoft Engand became a chandlers but then as the British fishing fleets vanished turned to selling imperial measurement based tools worldwide for older vehicles and machinery made long before the metric system became common. I still have a collection of old classic cars, this site is about them, other things connected with the business, the fishing industry (and its decline) and Lowestoft etc.

If you are unsure what tools you need for an old car or motorbike the conversion charts (link above) explain BSW,BSF,BA and AF sizing etc.
There are pages about us,the ship chandlers we owned,Lowestofts beam trawlers and fishing fleets etc here, the harbour and fish auctions etc here. and background here.
I am still interested in buying or selling tools and spares etc connected with cars the same as,or similar to ones I own.
