In order for the user to make sure the downloaded file is the real one
posted. The Web site owner calculate the MD5 file signature and post it
on the Web site. The user has to use a MD5 calculation tool to get the MD5 code
and then check it using their own eyes. This may seem to be a simple procedure.
But it has been very annoying! Most of users actually just skip it - that can
cause security issue.
Our DownloadChecker utility and service can make your file verification with ease and confidence.
Technically, DownloadChecker is part of the utility of Fic.
We also support a C++ version of DownloadChecker as an OS native application, for all OS
platforms, including most of mobile devices - like mobile phones.
Here we demonstrate various effective solutions using the Fic utility.

Once the Fic.msi is downloaded and installed, the right click "Download Checker" manual item
will be available within the Windows Explorer.
Check on any file in the Windows Explorer, by right click on the file.
You will see the "Download Checker" manual item.

1. Launch the Windows Explorer.
2. Right click on a file. eg. C:\Fic\Fic.jar, which you have just downloaded.
3. Click on the "Download Checker" manual item. You will see the confirmation Dialog Box.
4. Click on the "More Information" Check Box. You will see more information.

5. Right click and "Download Checker" manual item on any other file. eg. C:\WINDOWS\system\AVICAP.DLL.

6. Click on the "More Information" Check Box. You will see more information.

7. Use the same procedure to check the old Fic.jar file you download previously. You will see some relevant screens.
