Simile group,
Iケm a bit perplexed as Iケm not seeing the icon or icons that are said to be
necessary for scraper installation or activation. Let me just say that I
believe that Piggy Bank is installed as its icon is up there in the toolbar
and clicking on it shows me the ウMy Piggy Bankイ page. Thereケs also a Piggy
Bank sub-menu in Firefoxケs Tool menu. Finally, the ウBrowse Tidbits on This
Pageイ menu command seems to work, for example, when invoked at the Semantic
Bank page and I see [data coin icons] on particular pages.

To install a screen scraper, you need to save its information (that you have
collected) and to activate it. To activate a screen scraper, click on the
icon [disabled gear icon] at the upper right corner of the screen scraperケs
information. That icon will change to this icon [enabled gear icon] to
indicate that the screen scraper is activated.
If I go to the Semantic Bank page at simile.mit.edu I see pages dedicated to
23 scrapers, List View, yet I do not see any [disabled gear icons] on these
pages. If I go to a page dedicated to a scraper, like the NCBI PubMed Screen
Scraper page, I do not see a [disabled gear icon]. Iケm assuming one or both
of these pages are the ウscreen scraper informationイ pages, yes? I do see
links labelled ウfocus on these valuesイ on some of the scraperケs pages, upper
right, but no [disabled gear icon].
