Message from Prof. Nachiketa Singh, Principal
Its an honour and pleasure on my part to assume the office of the Principal, Shyam Lal College (Evening) at a historic juncture of Diamond Jubilee since its foundation in 1964. It makes me feel immensely proud and honoured to have been entrusted with the responsibility of carrying forward the historic legacy of the institution and accomplish the cherished ideals and realise the vision of its founder Late Padma Shree Shyam Lal Gupta.
About The College
Shyam Lal College was founded by Late Padma Shree Shyam Lal Gupta, Chairman, Shyam Lal Charitable Trust in the year 1964. The foundation stone of the College was laid by Late Dr. Zakir Hussain, the then Hon’ble Vice President of India and Chancellor of University of Delhi on May 24, 1964.
