It could mean two things.
- One is, the meta model that maitains enterprise architecture supports semantics ..

- Second, The enterprise Architecture itself supports Semantics. For example, in the past we developed Conceptual information model as one of the artifacts that is developed as part of EA. Now instead we can develop semantic model for the same cell.. Semantic model would a full developed Ontology. Some EA frameworks, including Zachman supports it. Semantic model.
