Peter, I prefer the "reindex/pack" as opposed to going to the drive Logic is in, then program files then finding the .cdx files. Good advice on the "reindex/pack".

G'Day Julio,
You do not have to delete the CDX files yourself.
The CDX files are the "indexing" material LOGic needs to quickly retrieve
data in each of its databases. There are checks in place to see that the
CDX files are "up to date". LOGic will automatically suggest you do a CLEAN
if the CDX files are out of date for any reason.
This is a normal process will any program that uses databases - not
something to worry about.
LOGic will take care of the CDX files when you run the CLEAN process,
removing and rebuilding the CDX files for you.
You can also rebuild the CDX files from within LOGic using Tools, Database
Maintenance and selecting REINDEX/PACK of the databases any time you may be
worried there is a problem.

Ron I've looked around for the .cdx files in the logic folder but didn't
find any. Does logic have to be running for them to appear?

Nick,
Using the legacy rig drivers might help. When I have trouble I do this:
Exit LOGic. Do a CLEAN UP INDEXES AND TEMPORARY FILES. Next, delete all of
the .CDX files located in the folder that contains your database. Start
LOGic.

I need some practical information concerning Logic 9. Since the installation
it has not behaved as had 7, or 8. I continuously get "restart" notices and
"Logic has to Close". I'm sick of it. The interface is working properly, the
com ports are adjusted and so is the rig interface using the all other Icom
interface. I'm using my trusty IC765 and while Logic worked like magic in
earlier editions 9 is not. Has anyone had similar problems?
