Hi Jennifer,
I assume you are running the latest version (8.0.92).
If so...
Are you using your Windows hosts file to block ads? If you have no idea what I am talking about, probably not.
I used to receive errors all of the time with DXSummit (but not with DXScape). I finally tracked it down to the use of my Windows hosts file as an ad blocker.
DXSummit was not specifically listed in hosts file, but for some still unknown reason, returning the host file back an original state (or deleting it) provided a work around for my problem with Logic 8 and DXSummit.
