Marty-
I am embarrassed to admit I am not sure. I got this one prebuilt so
basically plugged it in and used it instead of an earlier serial version.
I'll see if I can figure out which I have the next time I get down to the
shack.

Bob,
Do you use WinKey USB, or WinkeyII-USB? WinkeyII-USB
has superceded Winkey-USB and there is a difference
in between the two. There were changes on how the
"session" is opened and closed and how the software
driver "captures" the Winkeyer's attention.
New to the command set was a "close" command not
implemented in Winkeyer-USB. If the "opening" and
"closing" is not managed properly in WinkeyerII it
causes problems. This aspect was not part of the
original WinKeyer-USB.
