Yes you should be able to do that. Dennis or someone on the reflector
will be able to tell you which files to copy over to maintain your
customized settings. You may be able to do the same with your QSO data
files or if you have enough use of the drive you can do an export and
then import the file into the new install. I think this is about the
same thing as installing a new version of LOGic. For some reason Dennis
doesn't provide for one to keep their custom settings in the new version
you have to copy over the old files to the new version.

Hello,
I recently lost my boot sector on my C: drive. Fortunately, I am able
to see all the data on that drive when I make is a slave drive. I had
LOGic v8 on that drive with a lot of data (QSO's) and forms. Once I
install a fresh copy of LOGic on my new hard drive, can I just copy all
the files off the other hard drive and overwrite the files on the fresh
install?
