[LOGic] QSL Bureau Service

Hi Rick,
Isn't this bureau info already shown in LOGic's Info window, albeit not
populating your log form? So could it be copied (cloned) into fields in the
log form? I should (knee-jerk) think so.
Anyway, seeing as Info form does show what entity ("country") can be sent
QSLs via "ARRL buro", (as well as if their incoming bureau use is limited to
their National members), you'd think this list of values/info has to be
stored in LOGic ... does this mean you've replicated same info?
And to complicate matters, I'm sure you know even if their country
allows/has bureaus, that some DX will not QSL via a bureau. How would you
deal w/ that? Use the manual "callbook to address" log feature to populate
your QSL manager ("Via") field?
Hint - a good reason to support my proposal!
I guess to pull this off you might want to think about -
Even though the country has a bureau, add the variable: is the DX a National
member and can make use of their bureau.
And add the variable that even though the country has a bureau the DX might
not accept bureau cards.

Subject: [LOGic] QSL Bureau Service
Group,
I would like to have a field on the log form that tells me if the DXCC
entity I am logging has a QSL Bureau or not.
I did make a feeble attempt....I created a list of entities that have the
service, and then I created a field called "QSL BURO" and made it a yes/no
field. I then added this field to my log form. But that is as far as I got
with my limited knowledge.
Is it possible to have the log form compare the entity I am logging with my
newly created list of countries that have QSL Bureaus, and if there is a
match, to put a "YES" in the "QSL BURO" field ? (or a "NO" if there is not a
match). So when I enter my contact with a UK from Uzbekistan (or any of the
other 63 entities that do not have QSL Bureaus), it will tell me there is no
QSL Bureau there, and I will know I have to QSL either direct or via a QSL
manager.
Thank you for a great program and great users.
