This is the right one: 

setdate= SYS(2001,'DATE') 
set date to dmy

For this report only, try this: 

In the Report Layout, double-click in then date field, the expression 
builder must appears, now click on the squared 'Format' and select 'Date' 
and 'european date format' 

If the above try dosen't run, try this another one: 

In the 'Create/Modify Report' window, 'Command scripts - Before run' window.
Type in the following two lines as the last one of this window: 

setdate= SYS(2001,'DATE') 
set date to mdy 

Now select 'Command scripts - After report' window and also as the last line
type in this single line: 

set date to &setdate. 

EXACTLY as you see, ampersand and dotted finished (better copy & paste)

I am writing a custom report to use for submitting cards for DXCC credit on 
various bands according to the layout requested by the ARRL. I have it all 
looking really good, but the date format is in mm/dd/yyyy and it is supposed

to be dd/mm/yyyy. 

I might be somewhat brain-dead here today, so, I need some help in figuring 
out how to make the report print the correct format. 

Is it as easy as changing the default date format for the whole program and 
it will change for the reports?? 

If so, how do I do that..
