I ran into this. There is a "real time" setting, I believe on the log setup
form. At least that worked for me. You have to tab out of the call I
believe.

Subject: [LOGic] Log Not Transferring Rig Data Without F6 Force Log Command
I started to have a strange problem a few weeks ago with LOGic7 that is now
continuing with LOGic 8. When I click on the + sign to start logging a new
QSO, no data is transferred from the rig (ICOM 756ProIII) to the log form,
unless I hit F6 (force log). In the past, I didn't have to do this. I'm
using TRX-manager as my "rig" in the radio setup. Though I said in an
earlier post that my setup wasn't automatically transferred when I installed
LOGic 8, something is strange when this weird setting was transferred. I
did have to manually enter my station information again and manually import
LOGic 7 log data. Perhaps when I started LOGic 8 the second time it
transferred in data that I hadn't done by the manual method upon first start
up. At any rate, if anyone knows what setup or option I need to set to get
this to operate the way it used to do, I'd appreciate knowing that little
secret! :-)

Carl
