I hear the same thing. I don't know when it started but quite a while back.
For a while I thought it was related to having two telnet and the DX Summit
windows open--maybe one audio stream interfering with another but I have not
been able to confirm that idea.

I hear this also. I don't have any solution. I am running XP Pro also.

Subject: [Logic] Spot log announcement stutters
For a while now I have had a problem with the spot log announcements
skipping portions of the DX announcements. When I expect to hear
DX Gulf Mike On 40 Meters CW
I will hear just portions like
DX Gulf 40 Meters
It isn't consistent, sometimes I hear the correct announcement and
sometimes it gets cut off. Portions of the middle of the announcement can
get left out as well as the end. This problem seemed to start when I
switched computers and started running WinXP Pro. My computer is a 2.4 GHz
P4 with 1GB of memory so I don't think it is getting overwhelmed.
Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any solutions?
Thanks,
Pat KØPC
