You can update should you choose.
BEFORE YOU START >>> BACKUP!
With LOGic7 open, go to:
Tools > Setup > Lists of valid values.
Two windows open - the top one is where you enter data, and the bottom one
that looks like an Excel spread sheet is where you can see (but not enter)
the data.
BEFORE YOU START >>> BACKUP!
You will need to know in advance the information typically entered for this
type (IOTA) record. Not all of what I will mention is required, and you can
always return and add additional info to this record at a later date.
You MUST as a minimum know the IOTA island number (alpha prefix-numeric
suffix).
You ought to know the Island name. Proper and nickname is desired. Location
(degrees-minutes) also nice to know, etc. Look at other IOTA selections and
you will get the idea.
Let's get started....
1. In the top window called "Lists", you must first click the plus sign
icon. Hovering w/ your mouse should show: "Add a new record to the
database..."
2. At Field Name, usie the drop-down list and select "IOTA"
3. At Value, type the IOTA Island number (example: NA-001)
4. At Description enter the island name. This is what shows when selecting
IOTA in your log form. Review existing records to get the idea of what is
typically entered in these fields.
5. At Comment enter what you want. Review existing records to get the idea
of what is typically entered in these fields.
6. Click on the door (Quit this form) icon.
7. Close and reopen LOGic. Test. Should be OK.
Hope this helps, gonna go eat dinner.
Regards, Bill K1UQ
