Bill,
Backup on a schedule like the day you change your air conditioner filters or
some
other repetitive household task. Also backup to media that is not in your
computer.
A lightening strike can get all of it at once. I have a small network in
the house and
I keep a backup on every computer in the network and on a zip disk.
good luck,

Subject: [Logic] Force bulk update from QRZ.com?
I am in the process of recreating a sizable portion of my log that
inadvertently got erased. (I know, I know, I didn't back it up soon
enough...) Anyway, I downloaded the basic QSO data (call, date/time) from
LoTW, and it's now in the log -- but I want to fill in the other info from
QRZ, like grid, county, QTH, address, state, etc., etc.
For a QSO that is already entered in the log, LOGic won't access QRZ.com
automatically. I want to figure out how to force a lookup of the current
record (without having to manually type the call in), so the missing info
will be filled in. I could of course manually do it one at a time, but this
would be painful. :-\ So, does anyone know how to force an online lookup
for records that are already in the log? And preferably in bulk, rather than
one at a time?
