Hi again group...
Thanks to all who replied regarding slash zero fonts.
I did a bunch of GOOGLE searching last night and came up with several fonts
that work nicely for reports, QSL's, etc. Sorry, I don't remember where I
found them all, but a GOOGLE search should locate them for you.
They are:
ANDAM___.TTF (that's three underscores before the .TTF)
HAM.TTF
vrb.ttf
slash_0.ttf
You might also search for the following ZIP files:
AM_SLASH.ZIP
SLASHED0.ZIP
HAMFONT.ZIP
VRB.ZIP
If you can't find them anywhere, email me and I'll forward them to you. (Or,
if OK with Dennis I could send to him for inclusion on the FTP site.)
Also, a short lesson on installing fonts (courtesy of AB7SL):
INSTALLING THE SLASHED ZERO ANDALE MONO FONT
It is really pretty simple. However since the original and the slashed
zero andale have the same name under Win9x (after installation) the old
andale must first be moved out of the fonts directory which for most folks
is C:\Windows\Fonts. If no other apps are using the font(the font is
closed) you can move it or drag it out of the fonts directory. I had to
exit to DOS to do so....your mileage may vary. Unzip the file you received
to any convenient directory (folder). Then go to start/settings/control
panel/fonts and select under file 'install new font'. Navigate that window
to whereever you placed the unzipped font file. Select it and let Win9x
install it.
You may have to reboot for Windows to load the new font into it's font
cache. I did not have to..after installing the slashed zero andale I simply
opened DXBase2000 and the font displayed with the slashed zero.
 Enjoy....courtesy of Charles Johnston - AB7SL
Good luck!
