[Logic] List of Valid Values: DXCC problem

Well Carl,
 The new "POLITICAL" field is talked about in the
Newsletter
page 3 'Upgrading from LOGic 5 and other version'. This new field is what
logic uses to check which "Web page" to use for the contacts info.
So I guess it comes down to if your going to be using the web to log in
your contacts or not. If you log in the name, qth etc by hand or use a
CD/call book, then it's no biggie. But if you depend on the web for this
info then you will have to back track re install the ver. 6 table, then
add your
log book data. Edit the rejects, here I had to do this when I upgraded
from ver.4 to ver.5, most of my rejects were countys the name didn't
match with ver.5 about 100 and a few IOTA's I pickup on not in the new
list.
Then there your IOTA list you want to bring over from ver 5. So I guess
it depends on how you plain to use LOGic and the web for future contacts.
If your happy with the way it work now then don't fix it.
Other wise I hope you saved your old log book backup. If it were me I
take
the long way and edit my old data to work in the new ver.6, a little each
night and you will have it.
