This list is for getting help with using or installing GNU Emacs.

This list is connected to the gnu.emacs.help newsgroup. Note that the connection between the two can be unreliable.
There is also a comp.emacs newsgroup, for Emacs questions not specific to GNU Emacs.
Please don't send the same message to both comp.emacs and gnu.emacs.help.

Please don't send bug reports here, or to the comp.emacs newsgroup;
mail them to bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org instead.

You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribe to help-gnu-emacs by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.
