That stuff was from me, and I don't run any AD. I probably should have been more clear about my environment. I have Windows for $WORK only, but all data and most activity is on Linux, shared via Samba workgroup. There may be a better way to sync time for the 2 Windows machines, but since what I have has worked for me since forever I see no need to change it. Certainly AD would be massive overkill and pain.BTW ... I don't think I've needed to do that "net time" or even that w32tm to set time on a Windows clients since ..*maybe* .. the days of Win NT 4.0.
