Agreed, I was also confused by the "208V with perpendicular prongs".

What I see on Dell's doc site is a C19 / C20 plug type, I believe that

208V. I, however, don't have any C19/C20 cables (though I *do* have a 
UPS

with the correct outlet).

quick look at the dell site tells me that the item comes stock 200-240 
volt with an option to make it 100-240 volt. With the number of 1000 watt 
power supplies in it they probably went to a 240 volt source to keep the 
ampacity down. I do not have the power source off hand,, However I have 
the capability to create one. If you do plug it into a ups, be wary of a 
power down. The ups might not be able to handle the load.
