hmm. didn't see the software part. Then what's the advantage to a regular 2-channel HD controller card??

Why market it for RAID if it doesn't do anything HW that is special, aside from confusion.

Careful - this card supports "software" raid... so it's just a regular ATA card I think... Gotta be careful of these cheap RAID cards...

Here's a link to a PCI Raid controller card they have also
for 133/100 ATA's.

You could put this in your PC, hook two drives into it for
hardware RAID. not hot swappable, but a cheap HW Raid card.
