Ok so the key is to watch the kernel boot messages. I have an old SOHO MB
here, that I want to replace. It is 66FSB 266 PII but I have a promise
ATA-100 add-on on the PCI bus. SuSe 7.3 recognized it out of the box.
Planning on getting a Biostar FSB133 - 866 PIII to replace it. It will
have ATA100 primary on the board.
