Thanks for all the info on xDSL, I'm looking into availabliity from covad and Bell Atlantic. So far covad says yes, BA says no. I checked with Suburban and it doesn't look like cable modems are available here just yet (projected time frame: march) but that shouldn't be a problem if they do provide service in march cause that's when my current contract runs out.
