Check the /etc/exports, etc/hosts.deny files. Also make sure your running portmap and all of the nfs stuff. The NFS-Howto does show you all of this but I made the same mistake also, I just can't remember the exact fix. If your still having problems send me: /etc/exports /etc/hosts.allow /etc/hosts.deny and a dump of ps ax from both machines. David L.
