Our libraries

There are four libraries on campus, along with two public galleries displaying rare items and artworks. There is one off-campus library in St James's Hospital.

Laidlaw Library

Get access to core texts for taught courses with inspiring spaces designed for undergraduate study – write your essay looking out at the Leeds skyline.

Edward Boyle Library

24-hour access to six levels of spacious and open plan study areas. Contains research collections for engineering, law, sciences and social sciences, and the postgraduate Research Hub.

Brotherton Library

A traditional and tranquil study space, with arts, cultural industries, humanities, languages and performing arts collections, and the Cultural Collections Brotherton Research Centre.

Health Sciences Library

Specialist library with plenty of silent study space and a group study area for dentistry, health sciences, medicine and psychology, on level 7 of the Worsley Building.
