There was read the former part of a letter of Mr. LEEWENHOECK to the society, dated at Delft, January 5, 1685, N.S. It contained the figures and descriptions of several salts found in vinegar and in a sort of French wine called vin de damoiselle; the figure of an eel in vinegar; the flgure of the salts found in vinegar mixt with crabs eyes and chalk.
