Applicants wishing to take the JLPT in Japan should make application via the Internet. The test registration process is as follows.
*Application by smartphone or tablet is available (Note that block registration by group representative is excluded). Application is not available from mobile phones such as feature phones.
*Application will be possible only via the Internet since 2020 and application by mail (application form) has been abolished.

STEP1Register with MyJLPT
Registration with MyJLPT can be made at any time from anywhere.
Please do not forget the MyJLPT ID you have been issued or the password you set.
STEP4Register JLPT application information
Once you register with MyJLPT, it is easy to register JLPT application information.
Payments can be made by credit card, bank wire transfer (Pay-easy), or at a convenience store.
Application complete
Please do not forget the Application acceptance number that you were issued.
Group (10 or more applicants) test applications
The following procedures can be used for group applications for groups of 10 or more applicants.
Application via the Internet
1Block registration by group representative
The group representative enters the information for all applicants in the specified registration format and pays the test fee for all applicants.

2Block registration by grouping individual applications
Applicants in the group register individually with the MyJLPT for individual registration. Application information is registered by the individual but test fee for all applicants is paid by the group representative.
※(注記)For Group Test Applications
- Please make sure to input the right applicant information when registering.
- A group can only register one address as an address to receive test vouchers.
- Please apply within the application period and make sure to complete the test fee payment by the payment deadline.
- Every time, there are cases in which applicants cannot take the test due to mistakes in the procedure of group applications.
- Be sure to register carefully.
For applicants with a disease / a personal injury / disabilities etc.
Special testing accommodations can be made for applicants with a disease / a personal injury / disabilities etc. depending on the type and severity it.
Examinees who would like to make special testing accommodations should apply for the test via the Internet, and in addition, please call the JLPT Application Center and apply for the special testing accommodations by mail within the application period.
