Since its establishment in 1979, the Foundation for Middle East Peace (FMEP) has been instrumental in building a future for Palestinians and Israelis that is just, secure, and peaceful. Every aspect of our programming and grantmaking remains diligently compliant with U.S. laws and regulations, and our grants program proudly supports civil society groups whose work aligns with this mission. Any attempt to tie FMEP grantees to acts of terrorism is not only grossly inaccurate; it’s also nothing new. We remain steadfast in our decades-long work rooted in respect for international law, democratic norms, human rights and dignity for the people of Palestine and Israel.
