KALEIDICA

The KALEIDICA is a digital kaleidoscope, light show generator, and artistic toolbox, all rolled into one (see examples from the gallery). Kaleidica is licensed application software provided on CD-ROM and it runs onWindows XP and Macintosh OS X computers. You can use Kaleidica with other image processing software like Adobe Photoshop to make outstanding artwork and animations.

Artists of all ages can use Kaleidica to create magnificenttraditional and original sacred art including animated mandalas for meditation, inspirational visualization, star patterns, crosses, mazes, magic circles, kaleidoscopic imagery, magical diagrams called "yantras", and a host of other geometric symbols and artwork from a wide variety of traditions.

Kaleidica comes with six completely different symmetrical art sutdios including: Circle, Kaleido, Mirror, Star, Psych, and Array. Each studio is completely unique with dozens of user selectable variables, allowing you to create infinite symmetrical and asymetrical effects.

Save Kaleidica art or instantly playback artistic sessions as full-screen animations. There's no waiting for animations to compile because Kaleidica uses its own internal scripting language. Play your recordings as loops and/or add mp3 music files to create full-screen presentations. (see examples)

Kaleidica includes hundres of "image brushes" and many "animated brushes" that move in 3-D as you draw. Each brush creates a new effect on the screen.

Use your own digital photos and images to create completely unique Kaleidica artwork and custom animations (see details).

All animation and draw elements are under the control of your mouse and "hot key" commands from the keyboard. For example: to make the symmetrical brushes grow larger while you draw hold the "s" key down.... likewise, hold the "a" key down to make the brushes grow smaller..

Kaleidica can be enjoyed by beginners, and it is also a professional tool for live light-show performers and graphic artists working in high resolution print or animation media.

Kaleidica is fully documented with in-use clues, point-and-click help pages, and 40 pages of complete printable documentation (Adobe Acorbat format).
