Lake Akan Ice Festival “Winter Fireworks”

An exciting & unique event that you can fully enjoy in the harsh wintery environment in Hokkaido. From Feb. 1st to Mar. 2nd, the firework displays are held every night on the frozen lake.It's called "Winter Firework Festival".At temperatures below zero ( usually around -15 degrees Celsius/ -5 degrees Fahrenheit ), the crystal-clear night sky will be brilliantly decorated with blooming flowers of light. Time schdule ・7:45 PM Welcome ceremony ・8:00 PM Fireworks desplay (From Mar. 3rd to 16th, only fireworks desplays are held.). By the way, in daytime until Mar. 31th, various outdoor activities are provided from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM(Sunset) called "Ice Land Akan".Activities are smelt fishing experience, snowmobile, snowbuggy, and banana boats.
