Welcome to RISH WWW data server
Database of the space electromagnetic environment
The database of the space electromagnetic environment contains
the plasma wave data observed by plasma wave receivers onboard
satellites. They provide the enormous information on the
energy/momentum transfer processes, which affect the
electromagnetic environments in collisionless space plasmas. The
open data mainly consist of the plasma wave spectra observed by
the Geotail spacecraft. They cover the whole observation period
of the Geotail spacecraft since its launch of 1992.
Atmospheric radar observation data
The MU radar has been observing the earth's atmosphere for over
20 years as the largest atmospheric radar in Asian region. This
database provides observational data at mid-latitude (35N) from
the ground up to the upper atmosphere, or forest, atmosphere and
space, obtained by the MU radar and related atmospheric
measurement at Shigaraki, Koka, Japan. The data were
authorized by WDS(World Data System) March 2016.
Equatorial atmosphere observation data
Observation data obtained by Coupling Processes in the
Equatorial Atmosphere (CPEA) project have been opened. They
include the atmospheric data in the troposphere and lower
stratosphere and irregularity data in the ionospheric E- and
F-regions observed with the Equatorial Atmosphere Radar (EAR). The data were
authorized by WDS(World Data System) March 2016.
Global Atmospheric Observation Data
We are providing global meteorological data in a NetCDF format
that is self descriptive and network transparent. The datasets
on this server are Japanese 55-year Reanalysis (JRA-55), ECMWF 40 Year Re-analysis (ERA-40), NCEP
Reanalysis, and JMA GPV data provided by Japan Meteorological
Business Support Center.
Wood Diversity Database
Standard wood collections (KYOw), Japanese hardwoods, lexicon of
IAWA wood anatomy (translation JP-EN), scientific names
etc. KYOw provides a full list of sample collections and
corresponding preparations for microscopy maintained at
Xylarium. Anatomical description and micrographs of more than
400 Japanese hardwoods are retrievable from hardwood database.
EST Database for Useful Plants
In this database, the expressed sequence tags (ESTs) of
useful plants including medicinal and biomass plants are deposited.
Homology search against these ESTs can be performed using BLAST program.
You can also search gene annotations using a keyword.
Basidiomycetes Genetic Resource Data Base
In this database, you can search bibliographic data of dried
fruiting bodies of wood-rotting Basidiomycetes collected from
1920’s and genetic data of stock cultures in RISH.
Auroral images
This database includes pseudo-color all-sky images of aurora
acquired at the South Pole Station in Antarctica. This project
has been carried out in collaboration with National Institute of
Polar Research, National Science Foundation and Siena College.
Meteorological data in the industrial plantation of Acacia mangium in the Sumatera island of Indonesia
Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere (RISH) conducts meteorological observation in the industrial plantation of Acacia mangium in the Sumatera island of Indonesia to investigate meteorological environment of the plantation, influences of meteorological conditions on vegetation and interaction between the atmosphere and forest. We have eight observation points and measure rainfall, temperature and humidity. The temporal intervals of data include in the present database are 10 minutes and an hour.
